SERPs - Search Engine Result Pages

A web page that is displayed to the user when making a valid search by typing some keywords in the search box of any search engine is called the Search Engine Results Page. The SERP will contain information and links relevant to the search keywords or search query. The results page shows a combination of organic and paid listings.
Also, SERP features include:

  1. Display of paid results on top of the listing which have been bought by a bidder by placing the highest bid on the searched keyword(s). This includes Google AdWords.
  2. Display of other universal results additional to the organic ones like images, featured snippets etc.
  3. Addition of attractive and meaningful visuals to an existing result like rating stars or discount percentage on a product, informational and knowledgeable graphs for a weather report, etc.
